The Modern Technology in Sewer Repairs
Plumbers are the go to experts when you need to repair your sewers in your residence or in your offices. Nowadays, these plumbers are using the new technology and video inspections to identify your sewer problems in a fast and efficient manner. We generally do not want to see destructions happening due to the traditional way of repairing sewers. The use of video inspection is a good way to see cracks in your sewer lines, or root intrusion, or a collapsed sewer line without destroying your sewer system. This is done with the use of a tiny camera attached to the end of the auger line.
Another technology allows the plumbers to repair two small access points with either one on either end of the line, and this is called trenchless technology. With this system, your entire sewer line does not need to be uncovered because of the efficient repair that does not need for your yard, landscaping or driveway to be disrupted. For several years, when there is a sewer line repairs, it would mean excavating the line in large scale. This past way of sewer repair was a long and expensive process considering that after the repair you will have another repair to be done because of your damaged driveway or yard or landscape. As a matter of fact, it is more expensive to repair your driveway, yard, or landscape than the cost of the sewer repairs itself. Thus, the modern technology in sewer repairs has an edge in terms of how fast it can be done and with less cost involved.
The trenchless sewer repair have two types of options and these are pipe relining and pipe bursting. Pipe bursting method means while the new pipe is pulled through, the old pipe is torn apart.
Pipe relining differs from pipe bursting in the sense that this method does not split the old pipe apart, and instead, fiber glass lining is placed inside the destroyed pipe. The pipes are thus sealed and this will give the pipes a longer life with the kind of work and details applied.
So when you think you have a damaged sewer system, it is good to contact a professional plumber with the knowledge and equipment of the no dig technology. The no-dig method is becoming more of the practice among professional plumbers in solving sewage and water line problems. Plumbing services who are updated with the trenchless method and have highly advanced cameras, are performing their diagnosis about sewer problems in an efficient manner. This system is advantageous especially to the homeowners who will not see their beautiful gardens being destroyed. This new technology is a great alternative to the traditional way when work takes longer and more destructive to one’s surrounding properties.
